Where I got my start...
My name is Austin Lewter. I was born on 27 January, 1983 in Dallas, TX. The son of a second generation carpenter, my
dad (Layne Lewter) spent his weekends playing drums in the dancehalls of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.
I started tagging along at an early age and was quickly drawn to the percussion field. I first sat in for my dad at a
gig at age 7 and played my first paying gig at age 12. Then I joined the junior high band.
After high school I served some time in the drumline at Southeastern Oklahoma State University before I really delved
into playing trap set in live venues.
Since that time, I have played with the likes of Lil' Jesse Moreno, Sandusky Road, The Hard Luck Band, Silver Nickel,
Mark David Manders, Jason Horne and Billy Autry (just to name a very few).
The DJ in Me
All musicians are music fans firstly. Being said, subsidizing my time by DJing events as become a natural fit.
My knowledge of popular music from the past 50 years and natural crowd pleasing abilities has proven a perfect fit as
of recently.
I love people and I love music. Working the crowd at private events is my niche.

My family
My biggest accomplishment in life is my family. I married my soulmate, Jennifer Hall, on October 22, 2007.
Two days later, our son, Jackson Louis Lewter, was born 12 weeks early due to injuries Jenn sustained in an early mornig
car accident.
Though Jackson is still in the hospital, we will be coming home soon and look forward to meeting all of you.
